Welcome, every week Spartans Academy of Krav Maga holds classes in Newcastle and Washington. We are now going to keep you up-to-date on the progress of our students so you can see how Krav Maga could improve your life!
That might sound over the top but it is actually true, learning to defend yourself with Krav Maga Newcastle can improve your life in a number of ways:
- Your self-defence skills – unfortunately in today’s World one needs to be able to protect themselves and their loved ones.
- Your fitness! Yes, Krav Maga is the best way to get fit, burning more calories than: cycling swimming or jogging.
- Your confidence – knowing you could handle anything does wonders for your confidence.
- You’re social life – Meet new people, we are one big family here at Spartans Academy.
- Your time management and how you deal with stress! I kid you not; Krav Maga teaches you how to keep your mind clear in the event of a sudden or violent attack. It does this by training your mind and the way you think, which has a knock on effect on your everyday life not just during an unfortunate occurrence.
This week’s Krav Maga Newcastle and Washington classes (follow the hyperlinks to read about your instructors) involved improving each student’s natural fighting skills: Fighting Tactics and stress drills. I hear you, you don’t like fighting, trust us when we say, if you are attacked your body, your natural responses, will not think twice about fighting back. The great advantage of Krav Maga is that its basic principles are built upon the body’s natural responses. The stress drills, they are all about preparing you for a real-life situation, so that we know and you know you can deliver and not panic.
All you need to do is turn up, work hard and have fun! This aim was achieved by all our Newcastle and Washington students this week and your instructors could not be prouder. Thank you everyone!
